KIS

A young French artist based in Switzerland, KIS sculpts glass as one reveals a memory. For nearly two years, he has been taming this fragile and luminous material, carving vibrant shapes from double glazing: faces, bodies, animals, emerging from a breath between matter and transparency. Each work is born from a burst of emotion. The faces he carves are never invented: they are those of real people, bearers of stories, absences or silences. In the cracks it causes, it creates depth, a truth, a poetry of light. KIS also offers tailor-made creations: unique sculptures, created on demand, such as intimate portraits frozen in glass. His art, both raw and delicate, captures the moment, freezes the shadows, and transforms transparency into language.
